About
My name is Matthew Jones. I am a Fort Worth native and have lived here almost my entire life. I love this city and its laid-back mindset and beauty. I am married and have 4 children. My family is often involved in one way or another with my photography - whether the willing (or unwilling) subject or just being along with me while I shoot. Often they give me an extra set of eyes and perspective which I believe helps me be a better photographer.
I mainly focus on landscape, still-life, and detail-type shots. I try to regularly find new areas of Fort Worth that might not be as well known to people. My goal is to produce artwork that is moving and tells some kind of story. There is a lot of beauty around if we just keep our eyes open for it. In the words of Ferris Bueller: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
